It is my first time to be a blogger, and I need your understanding, so please! bear with me. I just want to share with you friends, this newly discovered magnificent place, a God's gift to mankind. Asik-Asik falls is the new tourist destination here in north cotabato. The falls is already featured both in the 2 leading TV stations here in the Philippines. You might say nah! your place is in a war conflict area. I totally disagree to that notions, because it is totally safe to travel here, I myself, is a witnessed to a foreign family who happened to visit also the asik-asik falls that sunday morning on november 11, 2012. So! come on and give yourself a treat and be free from those busy life and tight schedules in the city. Feel free to ask me on how to reach this place, I might give you a free tour and ride.oops! but just provide the following:
- fare to the motorcycle or what we called here "dagit-dagit" or
- just gas up my motorcycle and we can take you there.. approximately a 1 and half hour ride from midsayap to upper dado.
- you can also take a jeepney ride but, that would take long, it really depends on how long the jeep will be fully loaded with passengers,
- upon entering the lower dado area you have to pay 20 pesos toll fee before you can pass the hanging bridge, because there's an unfixed bridge there, that was once destroyed by heavy rain.
- when reaching upper dado, the Local government will ask you to pay for the entrance fee of 30 pesos.
- still, another travel of 6.7 kilometers to reach your Asik-asik falls destination.
- lastly, another 5 pesos for the parking fee of your motorcycle.
- Thats it enjoy your another 600 plus stairsteps going down to the falls.
ain't that hard right? hehehehehh ENJOY your nature trip adventures...
